For your first session, you will come prepared with an idea of what you want to work on.  If you want to try hypnotherapy but you are not sure what you want to specifically work on, than I will ask:

1st Session Outline

  • Discuss issue or goal you want to achieve
  • Educate or review what hypnosis is
  • Get in touch with the power of your subconscious mind
  • Induce hypnosis and then count out of hypnosis
  • Co-create your customized positive suggestions
  • Induce hypnosis, deepen, suggestions, and count out of hypnosis
  • You will receive a recording of your custom suggestions to listen to one or more times a day until your next session
  • Schedule next session 4-7 days after first session

Next sessions

The first session covers the basic groundwork and sets you up with the proper foundation that will be necessary for the following sessions.  Here, you will get in touch with your highest potential.  These sessions sometimes include regression, aka: reviewing your past, therapy in which you explore the root of your limiting belief and then immediately transform it into a positive supportive belief.  When you wholly believe in your capabilities, they become your reality.

Study Results

Since hypnosis and hypnotherapy were accepted by the American Medical Society as a legitimate therapeutic agent in 1958, a great deal of research has been conducted on the efficiency and effectiveness of hypnosis. Several investigators during the 1970’s and 1980’s provided clinical and experimental evidence about the effectiveness of hypnosis for smoking cessation, substance abuse, weight loss, phobias, depression, and anxiety. These results were summarized by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis as follows:

  • Home Study Self-Hypnosis : 2 – 5% success rate
  • Group Hypnosis Session: 2 – 5% success rate
  • Single Individual Session: 17 – 20% success rate
  • Three Individual Sessions: 45 – 50% success rate
  • Five or More Individual Sessions: 85 – 90% success rate
